Yes that's true! Get ready for the all new credit card from Barclays. After a series of wearable smart devices introduced in the past couple of years, now we have wearable credit cards. Gone are the days when you lose your credit cards and have to go through all that tedious process of getting it re-issued. you can now wear your credit card on your wrist and make cashless transactions whenever needed.
The "bPay" from Barclays is a wearable device which can be used to make small transactions upto £20 swiping them over a pay point. These bands are rubberized, waterproof and enclose a computer chip and micro-aerial to correspond with transaction terminals. Wearable 24 hours a day, bPay bands operate faster than usual plastic credit cards as they don’t require a four-digit pin. Barclays is still working on enhancing its utility so that it becomes possible for people use these bands to pay for journeys in all the buses, tubes and trains inside London and is looking forward to the wide acceptance of this technology.
