NIKON D4S LAUNCHED!
Nikon updated its range of professional cameras by launching a successor to its flagship D4 DSLR camera,D4S. According to the company,D4S was a “minor update but turned out to be more”, a new sensor and upgrade to its new processor for better image quality and speed, full-HD (1920 x 1080 60p/50p) video recording, plus tweaks to the autofocus settings, video and workflow features, and controls.

OLYMPUS FIRES-UP 'EAGLE-EYE' DOT-SIGHT CAMERA
Dubbed ‘Eagle Eye', Olympus says the pop-up sight is designed to be stowed away when not in use. The camera also houses a 920k-dot EVF.The camera's f/2.9-6.5 lens features a 35mm equivalent focal length of 24-1200mm, but effective focal length can extended further using the 100x digital zoom.Due out in March, priced £349.99, the 16-million-dot SP-100EE carries a 3in, 460k-dot, LCD screen and lens-shift image stabilisation.
NIKON COOLPIX P530 AND P600 SUPER-ZOOMS OFFER UP-TO 60X OPTICAL ZOOM LENSES
Nikon has announced a couple of super-zoom cameras, Coolpix P530 and P600, for aficionados of wildlife photography, that include three new shooting modes, viz, Moon Mode, Bird Mode and a multiple-exposure option that combines three separate shots. The first of the two bridge cameras, P530, includes a new 16.1-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor behind the 24-1,000mm (42x) zoom lens with f/3-5.9 variable aperture and featuring VR image stabilization.
SAMSUNG UNVEILS ANDROID BASED GALAXY CAMERA 2
Samsung has rolled out yet another device that features a point and shoot camera built on a smartphone platform, the Galaxy Camera 2. The goodness of Jelly Bean OS lets you edit your photographs with numerous third party applications like Instagram and many more. The company has also stuffed the device with various sharing options like WiFi that makes photo sharing a lot easier.
