Amazon.com has been planning to launch its first phone in the world of smart phones occupied already by heavy companies somewhere after June 2014 and ship it from September onwards.
Amazon.com, an international electronic commerce company of United States is the world’s largest online retailer which has been selling hardware as well as its own productions such as Kindle e-readers, Fire tablet, Fire TV-streaming box and so on since 1994.
Amazon has been working to bring the best phone possible since some years with rumors being the phone’s screen would be 3D without any special glasses required with special six cameras on the body. The display cannot be seen in 2D. The phone will also be equipped with special features from Amazon.com.
The world of smart phones although undertaken by Apple, Samsung has also been hit by companies like Lenovo, Micromax etc. However it has not been announced yet if the upcoming phone will target middle-income population like Micromax or higher-income population like Apple. First the recent launch of “Moto G” by Google and now this not-named-yet phone by Amazon.com reflects the interest of online sites into the world of smart phones.
Soon after launching this 3D phone, Amazon.com is prepared to launch its second phone already in the pipeline.
