Amazon.com, an international e-commerce company of USA, the world’s largest online retailer which has been selling hardware as well as its own productions such as Kindle e-readers, Fire tablet, Fire TV-streaming etc, recently announced to release its first smartphone with a 3D Display after June 2014. Much before the company makes any further announcements regarding its first phone, the images have gone viral over the internet.
The phone resembles in many ways to the iPhone and Nexus devices when it comes to the built and design. The smartphone features four cameras that are used to create a floating screen effect and will use retina-tracking technology to make images on the smartphone's display appear to 'float above the screen like a hologram and appear three-dimensional at all angles. The smartphone is reported to feature a 4.7-inch 720p resolution display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with 2 GB of RAM. It will also run Android OS but with customized Fire OS. The smartphone will house 6 separate cameras to create 3D images. It will have 3D gesture effects and according to BGR Amazon may also offer its own data plan called Prime Data. Stay tuned for more info.
