Is Google Teasing the next version of android through the Easter Egg?
By Vishal Pandey, June 23rd, 2014
Google is known for teasing its upcoming product and android version in a strange but funny way. And we think they might do it again this time teasing the next version of android most likely Android 5.0(or maybe 4.5) . This time Google has chosen the android Easter egg for doing it. After the recent 4.4.3 update as you can see in the picture a lemon tart (Lime Pie) sign also comes along with the signs of the entire previous android version. It’s difficult to draw conclusions by this but knowing Google and their habits it may really be the next sign.
How to see Easter egg animation in Android 4.4.2 Kitkat?
Below are the steps to do so:
You can play with them by tapping a box then it'll move to another place.

With the Google I/O scheduled on 25-25th June, we are expecting several big announcements with one being the next android version. The name of which is most likely to start with L (Continuing Google’s tradition of naming android version alphabetically). The next version could be named Lime pie as the sign comes pretty close to it. But since it’s Google no one knows what surprise they might spring up while naming their next android version, last year it was widely believed that Google will name its next android version (4.4) as key lime pie but they surprised many by naming its android version 4.4 as KitKat by breaking away from previous tradition of naming it on deserts.
We expect the following major things to be announced on Google I/O
1) Android 5.0-The next initeration of the world’s most popular mobile os is expected to be announced in the Google i/o 2014.Google I/O is usually reserved for major operating system releases as it’s the perfect chance to showcase the new features and also demonstrate the new API’s and system-level components to developers. Codenamed ‘Moonshine‘internally at Google,
2) Wearable Devices-we are pretty sure we are going to hear more on the already announced Android wear. We could possibly see a live demo on Android Wear and potentially even a prototype device.
3) Google Fit-Recent rumours have surfaced which suggest Google will be launching a new health service called Google Fit which will be able to aggregate and collect data from fitness trackers and health apps. The timeframe for the release pegs it for Google I/O.
4) Android TV-not much is known about it but from the rumors we think Google may spring a huge surprise by introducing Android TV
5) Devices- Rumors are coming thick and fast and all are pointing to HTC Made nexus 8(or 9). According to the leaks, it has a 8.9-inch 2048×1440 resolution display, which has a 4:3 aspect ratio. Dimensions are 8.91 x 5.98 x 0.31 inches, and weighs 418 grams for the WiFi model. The LTE model weighs in at about 427 grams, probably won’t be noticeable. We’re looking at an Aluminum zero-gap construction with tapered sides here. Additionally it has the NVIDIA Logan processor, which is 64-bit, along with 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB of storage, front-facing stereo speakers and a 3MP camera on the front, 8MP on the back. What’s interesting is that the rear camera has OIS.
Google can also announce next generation of nexus 10 though we are not pretty sure about it.
