Micromax's has launched the Canvas HD Plus A190 last weekend running Android 4.4 KitKat with a Hexa-Core processor being its usp. The Canvas HD A190 is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6591 hexa-core processor along with 1GB of RAM.
The Micromax Canvas HD Plus A190 features a 5-inch 720p display. It has an 8MP rear camera and 2MP front facing camera. The smartphone has 8GB built-in storage, expandable up to 32GB. In terms of the design and built quality, the A190 looks pretty sleek and different (with metallic finishing at the edges) from the previous canvas devices from Micromax. Looking at the specs it seems it will face a tough competition by the recently launched Zenphone series from Asus and Xiaomi which is actually capable of easily snatching awy market from Micormax with its Mi 3 hitting stores tomorrow withing the same price band with features that Micromax cannot even dream of at the moment.
Last week, Micromax reportedly launched a new entry-level smartphone – Canvas Fire A093. The smartphone features 4-inch IPS display, Android 4.4 KitKat, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor along with 512MB of RAM and 5MP fixed focus rear camera.
