Nikon D4S launched!
Nikon updated its range of professional cameras by launching a successor to its flagship D4 DSLR camera,D4S. According to the company,D4S was a “minor update but turned out to be more”, a new sensor and upgrade to its new processor for better image quality and speed, full-HD (1920 x 1080 60p/50p) video recording, plus tweaks to the autofocus settings, video and workflow features, and controls.

The new D4S DSLR has 16.2 megapixels ,full frame image sensor i.e. FX-format CMOS sensor .It also sports Nikon’s Latest and amazing Expeed 4 Image processor.However, the most promising and interesting advancement made by the Nikon in this DSLR by offering five AF modes to prove this to be a serious tool for professional photography.
With Expeed 4 image processor,D4s can shot from ISO 50 to Hi-4 sensitivity of 409,600 (standard maximum: ISO 25,600) compared to the D4, which could shoot to 204,800 (standard maximum: ISO 12,800).This major upgradation will allow you to capture amazing pictures in low light conditionor if you just need to keep your shutter speed relatively fast without affecting the image quality too much. The D4S can shoot 11 frames per second at full-resolution. Nikon boasting thisfeatures as an improvement, even though the D4 could shoot 11 fps as well. Though, new image processor provides 30 percent more processing power than D4 with allows you to use autofocus and autoexposure on each of these 11 frames.
The Nikon D4S DSLR camera also features standard, neutral, vivid, monochrome, portrait, landscape scene modes. It comes with a 3.2-inch LCD screen, which has a 170-degree viewing angle.
The D4S will be available in the market from first week of March.Currently there are no announcements about the India price of this ultimate imaging machine but a suggested retail price of $6,500 has been given however, which translates to roughly Rs. 4,03,500.
