One Plus One Could Spoil The Game For Xiaomi In India

Last ten days were full of chaos created by the Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi in the Indian markets with the launch of it high end smartphone Mi 3 with extra-ordinary specifications at an ultra-low price range, followed by its launch of the Mi4 and a low budget fitness band. But if you think that's the end of the show in the budget segment for this quarter, get prepared for another shocker of the year! OnePlus One is planning to try its hands on the huge Indian market.
"Over the past months, we've seen tremendous interest from India, despite not having launched there. We have many customers in India purchasing to the US, and then asking a friend to bring it over or trans-shipping it. Some have even purchased the device from scalpers. Looking at our traffic, India ranks number 8, outweighing many of our launch countries," says a post at the official forum of the OnePlus One.
The One Plus One has an incomparable spec sheet at the price it is offered. The phone runs on CyanogenMod 11S based on Android 4.4 Kitkat. It houses a Snapdragon 801 2.5GHz Quad-core processor powered by a 578MHz Adreno 330 GPU with a mind blowing 3 GB LP-DDR3 RAM. The display on the One Plus One is Full HD, 5.5 inch protected by Corning Gorrila Glass 3 screen. The phone comes with 3100 mAh battery. The camera is again pretty impressive at 13 Megapixel with Sony Exmor IMX 214 sensors and a dual LED Flash. The front camera is a distortion free 5 MP Selfie Shooter. The camera also has a wide aperture of f/2.0. The most remarkable feature is its 4K recording capability with and its ability to record slow motion at 720p resolution at 120 frames per second(fps).
