Here’s a list of 5 great (cheap) ways to kill time on your new device:
1. Asphalt 8: Airborne
Easily my most favorite racing game on mobile right now. The incredible graphics and amazing soundtracks along with over-the-top, high octane races make for one hell of ride. The controlling is smooth unlike most mobile racing games. Other than the career, arcade or multiplayer modes, there’s the addition of a new infected mode where racers have to tag other players with an explosive virus before succumbing to its wrath.

2. Dumb ways to die
The game gives you exactly what the name says. The dumbest possible ways to die, from literally poking a bear to shoo-ing piranhas that are weirdly attracted to your crotch. As the player, it’s your job to survive through these random and ridiculous situations. You get three deaths before “game over”. The gauntlet of mini games starts off easy and gets tougher as you progress further. There’s also a fairly pointless reward system where you unlock all of these cute little characters with every high score. It’s just there for the sake of it. Oh and it’s insanely addictive.
For a dark-but-cute test of reflexes, ‘Dumb ways to die’ is fantastic.

3. Dead Trigger 2
I’ve never been a huge fan of FPS on mobile devices. DT2 is pretty much the only exception. It is unbelievably fun and the altogether realistic visuals only add to the delight. I’ve spent hours over hours blowing zombie heads off, collecting in game currency to upgrade alongside, and then blowing more zombie heads off.
If you’re looking for a quality shooter for your device, you’re going to have a hard time finding anything better than Dead Trigger 2.

4. Galaxy on fire 2
GoF2 is sci-fi RPG that has players blasting through a gorgeously rendered universe. There’s a wide variety of quests in the amazingly rich story line the game provides. Expansions are made available to you through In-app purchases.
GoF2 is an exciting, wide-open RPG perfect for sci-fi fans.

5. Plague Inc.
Plague is a rather dark global biohazard simulation game. You are the plague. You guide a disease from a harmless cough to a deadly worldwide pandemic by evolving it with new symptoms, modes of transmission, and resistances. Randomly generated world events force you to track down a different evolution path. Basically, the end game here is to kill. Everyone.
As morbid as it may seem, the gameplay of Plague Inc. is truly infectious.
