The biggest sporting carnival the FIFA world cup is upon us and the excitement is rising sky among the football fanatics. But it’s difficult to follow the entire tournament especially back home here in India as matches start late into night(even from 3.30 in night).But don’t lose your hope yet as we are here with top 5 apps which will not only help you keep track of the tournament but will also help you get closer to the action.
5) FIFA Official App-
FIFA's official app covers pretty much all football but it will be featuring all the World Cup action too of course. Follow your national team's progress with access to the match schedule, exclusive destination guides and team profiles. You can also add your favorite team to directly see news and results of your team. The app also includes videos and highlights. In short a basic app which every football fans must have.
However we would like to point out the app is not stable on many android phones and crashes frequently we hope the developers fix this soon.
4) World Cup 2014 Brazil-
if you love statistic you would love this app. Get match details like scorers, lineups, subs, cards and referees. With full data customization and offline mode this app is one of the best for keeping track of the tournament. The app ui is in green and yellow color the color of the host Brazil and looks beautiful (Argentinean fans don’t worry it’s not biased towards Brazil)
3) Adidas 2014 FIFA World Cup LWP-
This app comes from cellfish studio one of our favorite developer of wall papers and live wallpapers. Every time you unlock your device with this app set on your Home Screen, a short animation will play taking you from space, down to Earth, and straight into Maracanã Estádio’s center circle, revealing Brazuca, the official match ball.
