There are few things which should be dealt with, before committing a purchase:
Look and Feel:
Samsung Galaxy S5 looks very big in hand! iPhone 5S gets an upflag in this context. Its sleek, slim and looks pretty good! Samsung Galaxy S5 binds in a water resistant cover, which makes it attractive for people who often have slip hands with water. On the contrary, iPhone 5S doesn't give any resistance guarantee.S5 comes with a removable cover, while with the Apple boy you always need to stick on with the stock-cover. While inside your pocket, Samsung boy would pop out and say 'Hi!' to your friends, while the Apple boy prefers to hide inside safe!

Display:
Samsung Galaxy S5 packs in SUPER AMOLED,5.1-Inch,1080p Screen whereas, the Apple boy packs up IPS LCD with 4inches and resolution of 1136x640!
Definitely, the screen size is big in S5 and is superb! Vivid colors, and bright screen! Probably the best screen we've seen in Smart Phone cadre. iPhone 5S packs up its regular Retina Display and is also comparatively sweet to your eyes.S5 packs in an amazing 441-ppi screen which is jaw-dropping! So the next time you decide to head out on a journey, you certainly have an on-hands theatre experience with your media!.iPhone 5S has an 326-ppi screen, maybe cause of its 4inch display!
Inside-Specs and Performance:
Comparing the CPU and RAM of both the phones, S5 actually packs in 2X times of that of the iPhone 5S! Galaxy S5 packs in Snapdragon 801 2.5GHZ processor with 2GB of RAM, while iPhone 5S packs in Apple A7 64-bit processor with 1.4Ghz clock and 1GB RAM (nearly 1/2 of that of Samsung).
However, if you have both phone hands on, the performance is nearly equal! This is actually interesting to observe! Because iOS has a better control of Applications and RAM, it gets closer to S5. Android isn't 64-bit optimized yet, so if you want 64-bit processor phone iPhone 5S remains your only choice.
Coming to the Camera, S5 comes with a 16Mpx cam, while iPhone 5S comes with 8-mpx cam. Both are nearly good, and when it comes to low light iPhone 5S does excellent job.
Storage wise, S5 gives a clear cut edge! Above the 16 or 32GB memory, you can extend the memory by using microSD cards. While in Apple, there's absolutely no way to add external memory.
The Finger print scanner in both the phones does a equally good job. They both are locked down in Home Buttons, making it attractive. The Galaxy S5 does a good job by allowing you to lock down your applications and making your privacy a little extra! While the iPhone scanner only allows you to work on essential supported TouchID apps.
Choice of Apps and Customization:
When it comes to Apps and Customization, Android is the best! Since Android is totally open-sourced many individual developers are free to create and upload their own apps on the android market! This open-source market provides a far-edge from that of Apple's App Store! Apple individually verifies all its developers and makes sure that it doesn't customize the iOS very much. So if you're a freak who would expect pages and pages of apps on your phone providing you almost everything you think of, go to S5! However, this has a fall-down too! Most of the users download and install malicious soft wares which can make the phone cloggy, hence giving you a downtime on the performance of the phone.
Final Verdict:
Both phones are equally good in performance, and can give a different experience to their users! The Android powered Samsung Galaxy S5 and iOS powered Apple iPhone 5S are sure to create a ruckus in the smartphone market, ultimately opening a new-dimension of smart phones ruling the market!
